Job Title: Assistant Store Manager – Miladys Hermanus

Role Summary
We are looking for a vibrant and self-disciplined Assistant Store Manager. In this role, you will manage daily store operations to ensure we meet sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Stock Management
- Oversee the accurate receiving and unpacking of new stock.
- Manage stock levels through regular counts and action plans to reduce stock loss.
- Ensure the stockroom is clean, organized, and meets company standards.
- Authorize stock write-offs, returns, and recalls.
Sales and Profitability
- Analyze sales reports and work with management to improve store performance.
- Monitor product performance and provide feedback to the support center.
- Identify local marketing opportunities and events to increase brand awareness and attract new customers.
Risk and Compliance
- Conduct regular audits and admin checks to ensure the store follows all company policies.
- Maintain high standards for health, safety, and security within the store.
Customer Experience
- Maintain a high standard of store appearance, including visual merchandising and housekeeping.
- Execute promotions, markdowns, and price changes accurately.
- Handle customer feedback to ensure a positive shopping experience.
Leadership and Development
- Lead the store team to achieve daily goals and long-term strategy.
- Identify training needs and coach staff to help them grow.
- Manage staff performance and assist with recruitment when necessary.
Requirements
- Education: Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in an Assistant Store Manager or Store Manager position.
- Skills: Strong communication and computer literacy.
- Knowledge: A solid understanding of retail trade, customer service, and fashion products.
