Assistant Store Manager: Power Fashion (Atlantis)

The Role
As an Assistant Store Manager, you will support the Store Manager in the daily running of the branch. You will take charge of the store in the Manager’s absence and play a key role in maintaining high standards of merchandising, security, and team discipline.
Key Responsibilities
- Store Operations: Manage daily banking, oversee the cash office, and ensure all front-end controls are strictly followed.
- Management Support: Step in for the Store Manager when needed and assist in leading and developing the staff.
- Standards & Maintenance: Ensure the store meets company standards for housekeeping and merchandising.
- Loss Prevention: Implement security measures to minimize stock loss and shrinkage.
- Sales & Service: Drive sales initiatives to meet store targets and provide excellent customer service.
- Compliance: Ensure all company procedures and policies are correctly followed.
Requirements
- Education: Matric / Grade 12 (NQF Level 4). A background in Mathematics is an advantage.
- Experience: Previous experience in managing people and overseeing a department is essential.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in clothing retail is highly preferred.
- Skills: Strong communication, administrative, and organizational skills.
- Leadership: You should be a proactive decision-maker who can motivate a team and maintain productivity.
