Assistant Store Manager – Power Fashion (Dundonald Shopping Centre)

We are currently seeking a motivated Assistant Store Manager to join our Power Fashion team at the Dundonald Shopping Centre in Mpumalanga.
Role Summary
The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in daily operations. You will lead the team in the manager’s absence and ensure the store maintains high standards in merchandising, security, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily banking and cash office procedures.
- Lead the store and manage staff in the absence of the Store Manager.
- Maintain company standards for housekeeping and visual merchandising.
- Ensure all security and shrinkage control measures are followed to minimize stock loss.
- Oversee front-end controls and ensure efficient point-of-sale operations.
- Implement sales initiatives to help the store reach its targets.
- Ensure full compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric certificate (Mathematics is an advantage).
- Proven experience in managing people and leading a department.
- Previous experience in clothing retail is highly preferred.
- Strong administrative and communication skills.
- Ability to make decisions and solve problems effectively.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills.
