Assistant Store Manager – Power Fashion (Heidelberg)

We are a fast-growing business dedicated to providing value to our customers. We are currently looking for a motivated Assistant Store Manager to join our Power Fashion team in Heidelberg, Gauteng.
Role Summary
As an Assistant Store Manager, you will support the Store Manager in daily operations and take full responsibility for the store in their absence. Your goal is to maintain high standards of housekeeping, merchandising, and security while ensuring the store runs efficiently and remains profitable.
Key Responsibilities
- Store Operations: Manage daily banking, oversee the cash office, and ensure all front-end controls are strictly followed.
- Leadership: Assist the Store Manager in leading the team, managing staff performance, and maintaining discipline.
- Store Standards: Ensure the store is clean, well-organized, and correctly merchandised according to company standards.
- Loss Prevention: Implement security measures to minimize stock loss and ensure company procedures are followed.
- Sales and Service: Drive sales initiatives to reach store targets and provide excellent service to our customers.
Requirements
- Education: Matric / Grade 12 (Mathematics is an advantage).
- Experience: Previous experience in managing people and overseeing a department is essential.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in clothing retail is highly preferred.
- Skills: Strong communication, administration, and organizational skills.
- Attributes: You should be a confident decision-maker, proactive, self-motivated, and lead with honesty and integrity.
