The Role

We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Store Manager to join our Power Fashion team in Reitz. In this role, you will support the Store Manager in daily operations and take full responsibility for the store in their absence. You will play a key part in maintaining high standards of merchandising, managing staff, and ensuring the store remains secure and profitable.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the store and lead the team when the Store Manager is away.
• Handle daily banking and oversee cash office operations.
• Ensure excellent standards of housekeeping and visual merchandising.
• Implement security measures and shrinkage control to minimize stock loss.
• Supervise and motivate staff to maintain high productivity.
• Ensure all company procedures and front-end controls are followed.
• Drive sales initiatives to help the store reach its targets.
• Provide exceptional service to our customers.

Requirements

• Matric / Grade 12 certificate (Mathematics is an advantage).
• Previous experience in managing people and leading a department.
• Experience in clothing retail is highly preferred.
• Strong communication and administrative skills.
• Proven ability to make decisions and plan effectively.
• A proactive, self-motivated, and enthusiastic attitude.
• High levels of honesty, integrity, and professional ethics.
