Role Overview

We are seeking a reliable Assistant Stores Operator to support our logistics and supply chain operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling materials, maintaining accurate inventory, and ensuring that warehouse operations align with municipal standards.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric) or a relevant NQF Level 4 qualification.
• Must be computer literate.
• 1 to 3 years of experience working in a stores or warehouse environment.

Core Responsibilities

• Receive, store, and issue materials, equipment, and stock items from the warehouse or storage yard.
• Coordinate the dispatch of items across the City of Ekurhuleni departments.
• Ensure all tasks comply with government regulations and legislative requirements.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and policies to prevent waste and manage financial risks.
• Promote a culture of exceptional customer service and ethical conduct within the team.
