Role Overview

We are looking for an ATM Maintenance Cleaner to take care of Automated Teller Machine (ATM) facilities for a major banking client. In this role, you will be responsible for the cleanliness and basic upkeep of both the ATM exteriors and the internal ATM rooms. Your goal is to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for bank customers while following strict security protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize ATM machines, surrounding areas, and ATM rooms according to a set schedule.
  • Ensure all ATM areas are presentable and maintained to a high standard.
  • Inspect areas for any signs of vandalism or illegal skimming devices.
  • Perform basic maintenance tasks and report any faults, damages, or security risks immediately.
  • Follow strict security, safety, and access procedures at all times.
  • Use a smartphone or mobile app to complete checklists and report on work progress after each visit.
  • Travel between different sites as required to meet the cleaning schedule.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license and your own reliable transport.
  • Matric certificate.
  • 2 to 3 years of cleaning experience, ideally in a commercial, retail, or secure environment.
  • Ability to use a smartphone and mobile applications for reporting.
  • High level of honesty, integrity, and reliability.
  • Physically fit and able to perform manual cleaning duties.
  • Strong attention to detail and a professional work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet schedules.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene standards, including the safe use of cleaning chemicals.
