Introduction
Are you passionate about beauty and skincare? Do you enjoy helping people look and feel their best? We are looking for a confident and enthusiastic Beauty Advisor to join our Motherwell store. In this role, you will report to the Store Manager and provide expert advice to our customers across the entire beauty department.
Job Purpose
Your goal is to provide professional, knowledgeable advice on beauty and skincare products. By managing stock effectively and offering excellent service, you will help build customer loyalty and drive sales for the store.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Consultation: Talk to customers to understand their needs and recommend the best products and services for them.
- Drive Sales: Meet monthly targets by promoting products, cross-selling, and up-selling.
- Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest beauty trends, product ranges, and store promotions to provide accurate information.
- Store Operations: Manage stock levels, reduce product loss, and ensure the beauty department is clean, organized, and well-maintained.
- Merchandising: Ensure that all in-store displays and promotional materials meet company standards.
- Brand Ambassadorship: Provide friendly and professional service, acting as a representative of the Clicks brand.
- ClubCard Promotion: Encourage customers to join the Clicks ClubCard program to increase loyalty and participation.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Grade 12 / Matric (Essential)
- A qualification in Beauty or Skincare (Desirable)
Experience:
- Previous experience in beauty, retail, sales, or marketing is preferred.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong understanding of sales and merchandising principles.
- Knowledge of skincare and beauty products.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Target-driven and results-oriented.
- Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team.
- Capable of working under pressure and staying organized.
- Confident, engaging, and customer-focused.
