About the Role

The Billing Administrator will manage accurate, timely, and compliant billing for Lesaka Merchant’s card and online services. This role supports revenue integrity, customer satisfaction, and financial controls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Run monthly billing files and perform accuracy checks.
  • Apply amendments, upload approved files, and generate invoices.
  • Ensure billing cycle meets deadlines.
  • Reconcile billing data with system reports, payment platforms, and general ledger.
  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Support month‑end close processes related to billing and revenue.
  • Coordinate with the debtors team for debit order runs and reconciliations.
  • Respond to billing queries and liaise with customer support, sales, and account management.
  • Maintain accurate billing records and audit trails.
  • Maintain billing data across finance and operational systems.
  • Ensure correct customer set‑up, pricing, and contract terms.
  • Support system enhancements, testing, and process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with internal and external audits and data privacy requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

  • Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience working with large datasets and multiple systems.

Preferred:

  • Experience in fintech, payment systems, or transaction‑based environments.
  • Experience with subscription or usage‑based billing models.
  • Experience with data tools or automation solutions.
