Role Overview
We are seeking a qualified Building Inspector to ensure building standards and regulations are maintained within the city. This role requires a professional with a strong technical background in construction and a thorough understanding of local building laws.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must meet the following criteria:
- Education: A relevant National Diploma.
- Experience: At least 3 years of relevant experience within the building industry.
- Technical Skills: A strong operational understanding of Building Control functions.
- Legal Knowledge: Familiarity with laws, regulations, and policies related to Land Use Management and Building Control.
- Certifications: Eligibility to register as a Peace Officer (Law Enforcement Officer).
- Software: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Transport: A valid Code EB driver’s license and your own reliable vehicle.
