Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- A Senior Certificate or National Certificate (Vocational) NQF Level 4.
- A recognized National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
- Compulsory registration with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) as a “Candidate Engineering Technician.”
- A valid driver’s license (minimum Code B).
Required Knowledge and Skills
Candidates should possess a strong foundation in technical engineering and professional management, including:
- Technical Expertise: Knowledge of technical design, analysis, and computer-aided engineering applications.
- Project & Research: Skills in project management, research, and development.
- Compliance & Communication: Understanding of legal compliance and proficiency in technical report writing.
