Job Overview
We are looking for five dedicated Casual Workers to assist with orchard maintenance and general farm tasks at our Nelspruit location. This is a short-term contract position requiring physical stamina and a basic understanding of agricultural practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general orchard maintenance and daily manual tasks.
- Complete physical labor duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Protect field trials from animal interference to ensure research integrity.
- Operate and maintain farm tools and equipment properly.
- Follow all Occupational Health and Safety rules and instructions.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of a Grade 10 certificate.
- A basic understanding of farming and agricultural practices.
- Experience operating basic farm machinery and manual equipment.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Good awareness of health and safety procedures in a workplace.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
