Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must have:
- A Senior/Matric certificate.
- At least 6 years of relevant clerical experience.
- A valid driver’s licence.
Required Knowledge
Applicants should have a strong understanding of:
- The Public Service Act and related Departmental policies and procedures.
- The Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Act and regulations.
- Norms and standards for office accommodation.
- Record management procedures and the Health and Safety Act.
Skills and Competencies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and presentation abilities.
- Proven problem-solving and delegation skills.
- Proficiency in computer use.
- Professional report writing and the ability to motivate staff.
- Fluency in two of the official languages of the Western Cape.
