Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Education: ABET Level 4 or NQF Level 1.
• Experience: No previous experience is required.
• Skills:
  • Basic knowledge of general cleaning services.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to read and write.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidates will be responsible for the following tasks:

1. General Cleaning Services

• Clean office corridors, elevators, and boardrooms.
• Dust and wax furniture.
• Sweep, scrub, and wax floors.
• Vacuum and shampoo carpets.
• Clean walls, windows, and doors.
• Empty and clean dustbins and remove waste paper.
• Ensure office areas remain fresh and tidy.

2. Kitchen Maintenance

• Clean general kitchen areas and basins.
• Wash and manage the stock of kitchen utensils.

3. Restroom Hygiene

• Refill hand soap, toilet paper, and hand towels.
• Replace air fresheners.
• Empty and wash waste bins in the restrooms.

4. Equipment and Material Care

• Clean all equipment after use (including microwaves and vacuum cleaners).
• Report any broken cleaning machines or tools.
• Request new cleaning supplies when stock is low.
