Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Education: ABET Level 4 or NQF Level 1.
- Experience: No previous experience is required.
- Skills:
- Basic knowledge of general cleaning services.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to read and write.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidates will be responsible for the following tasks:
1. General Cleaning Services
- Clean office corridors, elevators, and boardrooms.
- Dust and wax furniture.
- Sweep, scrub, and wax floors.
- Vacuum and shampoo carpets.
- Clean walls, windows, and doors.
- Empty and clean dustbins and remove waste paper.
- Ensure office areas remain fresh and tidy.
2. Kitchen Maintenance
- Clean general kitchen areas and basins.
- Wash and manage the stock of kitchen utensils.
3. Restroom Hygiene
- Refill hand soap, toilet paper, and hand towels.
- Replace air fresheners.
- Empty and wash waste bins in the restrooms.
4. Equipment and Material Care
- Clean all equipment after use (including microwaves and vacuum cleaners).
- Report any broken cleaning machines or tools.
- Request new cleaning supplies when stock is low.
