Job Summary
We are looking for two Shop Assistant Cashiers to join our team at Clicks Palms Value Centre. The role involves operating the cash register, assisting customers, and supporting the store manager in daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently.
- Provide friendly and helpful service to customers.
- Assist with stocking, merchandising, and store presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the store.
- Follow company policies and procedures.
- Support the Store Manager in daily operations and staff management.
- Help with financial tasks such as budgeting and profit & loss statements.
- Ensure compliance with labour legislation and internal policies.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 with Maths 50% and English 50%.
- Relevant Retail/Business Management qualification (external applicants).
- Desirable: Degree in Retail/Business Management.
- At least 1 year of experience in an assistant store management role or completion of the Clicks Trainee Store Management Programme.
- Experience in financial management (budgets, profit & loss statements, financial ratios).
