Job Requirements
- Education: A Grade 12 (Senior Certificate) and a basic qualification accredited by the South African Nursing Council (SANC), such as a Diploma or Degree in General Nursing.
- Professional Registration: Current registration with the SANC as a Professional Nurse and Midwife.
- Specialization: A post-basic nursing qualification (at least 1 year) in Primary Health Care Science, accredited by the SANC.
- Experience: A minimum of four (4) years of experience in nursing after registering as a Professional Nurse with the SANC.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Solid problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Effective supervisory and teaching skills to guide junior staff.
Main Responsibilities
As a Clinical Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive primary health care services. This includes clinical assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and the general management of patients within the facility.
