Role Purpose
As a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) Consultant, you will provide expert advice and support to business units. Your goal is to implement HR tactical plans that improve service delivery. You will bridge the gap between HR strategy and daily operations, ensuring that our people’s needs align with the organization’s goals.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must meet one of the following educational and experience criteria:
- Option 1: A Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma (NQF 7) in HR Management, Industrial Psychology, Labour Relations, or a related field. You should have 5–7 years of experience in an HRBP environment, with at least 2–3 years as a functional specialist.
- Option 2: A Senior Certificate (Matric/NQF 4) with 10 years of experience in an HRBP environment, including 2–3 years as a functional specialist.
Technical Skills
- Advanced MS Excel skills (data analysis and HR metrics reporting).
- Strong presentation and visual storytelling skills.
- The ability to handle highly confidential information.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Support
- Analyze employee engagement results and advise management on how to address concerns.
- Guide managers on performance management, coaching, and career development.
- Support talent pipeline planning to meet future business needs.
- Apply change management strategies to support business growth.
Operations and Policy
- Provide expert advice on HR policies and employment legislation.
- Ensure HR services meet the specific needs of different business units.
- Manage HR-related projects and report on their progress.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and manage potential risks.
Governance and Ethics
- Maintain high ethical standards and ensure compliance with governance processes.
- Build strong, professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure all HR activities are cost-effective and follow organizational policies.
