Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
- A National Diploma in Engineering (Building, Mechanical, or Electrical) OR an N3 certificate with a passed Trade Test.
- At least six years of post-qualification experience in a relevant field.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Proficiency in computer use and standard office software.
Relevant Experience and Skills
We are looking for a professional who brings the following expertise:
- Construction Management: Significant experience working on construction sites for major contractors, government departments, or municipalities.
- Project Oversight: A strong background in managing project schedules, quality control, and budgets.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Experience managing relationships with various stakeholders from the start to the completion of infrastructure projects.
- Public Sector Knowledge: An understanding of infrastructure budgets within the public service environment.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to write detailed technical reports.
- Work Ethic: The ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently.
