Job Summary

We are looking for a detail‑oriented and analytical Controller to manage our vehicle stock. The role involves overseeing inventory control, purchasing, sales, and logistics to keep accurate stock records and improve profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of all vehicles, including VIN, make, model, price, and availability.
• Monitor inventory levels and turnover rates to avoid overstocking or stockouts.
• Conduct regular audits and spot checks to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Work with the sales team to forecast demand and coordinate stock replenishment.
• Negotiate with suppliers and vendors for favourable pricing and terms.
• Coordinate logistics and transportation for vehicle deliveries and transfers.
• Implement and maintain inventory management systems and procedures.
• Prepare regular reports on stock levels, sales performance, and turnover.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in inventory management, purchasing, or supply chain, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail‑oriented and highly organised.
