Minimum Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7) in Information Management, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in data and knowledge management, organizational learning, or innovation facilitation.
  • Experience working within government or corporate sectors.
  • Strong skills in data visualization and storytelling tools.
  • Experience leading workshops, learning exchanges, or professional communities of practice.
  • Proficiency in digital platforms like SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and Confluence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Information Sharing: Identify and share important knowledge products and meeting outcomes with the right stakeholders.
  • Network Support: Organize and assist with activities for the City’s learning networks and professional events.
  • Innovation: Stay updated on new technologies and systems in knowledge management to improve our current processes.
  • Problem Solving: Identify potential issues early and resolve them quickly to meet deadlines and quality standards.
  • Research: Conduct desktop research to support strategic planning and keep a record of emerging trends relevant to the City.
  • Event Management: Create agendas, find speakers, and manage the logistics for seminars and learning workshops.
