Job Overview

This is a contract internship position within the Crime Intelligence division. It is designed for graduates looking to gain practical experience in law enforcement and intelligence analysis.

Requirements

To be considered for this internship, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • A three-year National Diploma or Degree in Sociology, Criminology, or Political Science (NQF level 6 or higher).
  • Must be a South African citizen.
  • Must have no previous criminal record or pending cases.

Key Responsibilities

Interns will support the department by performing the following tasks:

  • Collecting and organizing information related to crime and community stability.
  • Assisting in the creation of intelligence reports and threat assessments.
  • Supporting SAPS operations through early warning systems and data analysis.
