Position Overview

We are looking for a professional to join our team as the Deputy Director for Employee Health and Wellness. In this role, you will oversee the health and well-being of our staff, ensuring a supportive and compliant working environment.

Job Requirements

  • Education: A 3-year post-school qualification (Bachelors degree or equivalent).
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in middle management.
  • Expertise: Deep understanding of Employee Health and Wellness (EHW) processes and systems.
  • Legal Knowledge: Familiarity with education and public service prescripts, including the Labour Relations Act, Employment of Educators Act, Public Service Act, and Basic Conditions of Employment Act.

Core Skills and Competencies

  • Leadership: Strong management and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead teams and resolve conflicts.
  • Administration: Proficiency in project management, financial accounting, and legal administration.
  • Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to facilitate presentations.
  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills, decision-making abilities, and a high level of computer literacy.
