Job Overview

We are looking for a qualified professional to join our team as a Deputy Manager of Nursing focusing on Maternal and Neonatal Health. This role requires a combination of clinical expertise in midwifery and strong management skills.

Minimum Requirements

• Senior Certificate (Grade 12).
• A Diploma or Degree in General Nursing.
• Current registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse.
• A minimum of 9 years of recognizable nursing experience after registering with the SANC.
• At least 4 years of the required experience must be at a management level within Advanced Midwifery.
• Post-basic qualifications in Advanced Midwifery and Neonatal Nursing Science.
• A Diploma or Degree in Nursing Education and Administration will be considered an advantage.

Skills and Competencies

• Basic computer literacy to assist with service delivery.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• In-depth knowledge of health programs including MCWH, CARMMA, PMTCT, and ESMOE.
• The ability to perform effectively under pressure.
• A valid driver’s license.
