The Opportunity

This role offers you the chance to lead cloud security assessments, architecture reviews, and cloud-focused cyber transformations. Key Responsibilities

Cloud Security & Technical Leadership

  • Lead cloud security assessments using industry standards such as CSA CCM, NIST, and ISO 27001.
  • Perform Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) reviews to identify misconfigurations and risks across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
  • Conduct design reviews to ensure cloud solutions are secure from the start.
  • Help clients implement security controls for identity management (IAM), network security, and data protection.

Cloud Advisory

  • Guide clients on multi-cloud security strategies and secure migrations.
  • Provide assurance over cloud governance and help clients establish secure operating models.
  • Support clients in creating policies that align with regulatory requirements.

Risk, Compliance & IT Audit

  • Lead IT risk assessments and integrate cloud controls into financial audits.
  • Evaluate security compliance against global frameworks.
  • Present technical findings and recommendations to senior client stakeholders in a clear, business-focused way.

Team Management

  • Manage junior staff, review their work, and ensure high-quality results.
  • Contribute to new service offerings and project proposals.

Skills and Attributes for Success

  • Deep understanding of Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud security services.
  • Knowledge of cloud architecture, encryption, and DevSecOps pipelines.
  • Strong background in IT governance and cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
  • Logical thinker and confident problem solver.
  • Proven experience in managing projects and leading teams.

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • A background in business or auditing is an advantage.

Experience

  • Assistant Manager: 3 to 5 years of experience in Cybersecurity, with at least 2 years focused on Cloud Security.
  • Manager: 5 to 8 years of experience with strong leadership in cloud projects.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud security tools (Azure, AWS, or GCP).

Professional Certifications (Highly Preferred)

  • Cloud: CCSP, CCSK, Azure Security Engineer, AWS Security Specialty, or GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer.
  • Cyber & Audit: CISSP, CISM, CISA, or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor.
  • Delivery: PMP, PRINCE2, COBIT, or ITIL.
