Job Opportunity: Digital Support Engineer
The Public Investment Corporation (PIC) is a leading investment manager in Africa with over a century of experience in managing public sector funds. We are looking for a dedicated Digital Support Engineer to join our team in Pretoria.
Role Overview
The Digital Support Engineer is responsible for providing high-quality technical support to PIC staff. You will ensure that technology systems run smoothly and that all technical issues are resolved quickly and efficiently.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications and experience:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Information Systems, or a similar field.
- ITIL Certification (V3 or V4).
- Microsoft IT Professional Certification (e.g., Modern Desktop Administrator).
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in IT support.
- Experience with Active Directory and End Point Security (Microsoft Defender).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Intune, and Service Management tools.
- Experience with Microsoft System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM) or Microsoft Endpoint Manager.
- Microsoft Cloud Certification (Azure Fundamentals) is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Support: Provide fast and effective support for computer and mobile issues in line with company policies.
- Executive Support: Assist the Board and Executive Management with digital tools, including Microsoft Teams for conferencing and collaboration.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and fix hardware and software problems logged through the service management system.
- System Maintenance: Install, configure, and upgrade software and hardware on staff devices.
- Vendor Management: Work with suppliers and service providers for equipment repairs and the purchase of new hardware.
- Asset Management: Manage the full lifecycle of IT equipment and mobile devices, from procurement and registration to disposal.
- Reporting: Track service performance, maintain an accurate IT asset register, and provide reports to management.
