Overstrand Municipality is a local municipality situated in the Western Cape province of South Africa. We serve the beautiful Atlantic coast region between Cape Town and Cape Agulhas, including the towns of Hermanus, Gansbaai, and Kleinmond. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our senior management team.

Job Requirements
To qualify for this senior position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Education: A Post Graduate Degree (NQF Level 8) in Social Sciences, Public Administration, Law, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 7 years of experience in middle and senior management roles, with a minimum of 2 years specifically at the senior management level.
- Legal Knowledge: A deep understanding of municipal legislation and statutory requirements.
- Competencies: Compliance with the minimum competency requirements for Senior Managers as defined by government regulations and official gazettes.
- Governance: Proven knowledge of institutional governance systems and performance management.
- Languages: Excellent communication and facilitation skills in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape.

- An appreciation for the Integrated Development Plan (IDP) and its role in effective service delivery.
- Strong leadership, strategic planning, and operational management abilities.
