Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Director to lead our Integrity, Security, and Vetting Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for policy development, anti-corruption initiatives, and overseeing the security of information and physical assets within the provincial administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership for policy development within the Provincial Administration.
- Coordinate, monitor, and evaluate anti-corruption programs across various provincial departments.
- Oversee whistle-blowing mechanisms and manage information management systems.
- Manage and coordinate information security and vetting services.
- Oversee physical and technical security protocols.
Requirements
- A National Senior Certificate plus an undergraduate qualification (NQF level 7) in Security Management, Risk Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience at a Middle or Senior Management level.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license (except for persons with disabilities).
- The successful candidate must obtain the SMS Pre-Entry (Nyukela) Certificate before formal appointment.

Knowledge and Skills
Candidates should have in-depth knowledge of the South African Public Service legislative framework, including:
- The Public Service Act and Regulations.
- The Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) and Treasury Regulations.
- Labour Relations and Employment Equity Acts.
- Occupational Health and Safety standards.
- General computer literacy and time management.
