Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Education: A minimum NQF Level 07 qualification in the Built Environment, Economics, or a directly relevant field.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of demonstrable experience in middle or senior management. This experience must be in project and programme management or a relevant field, including leading multidisciplinary teams within complex infrastructure environments.
  • Leadership: A proven track record of managing high-performing teams to achieve strategic business objectives.
  • Licensing: Possession of a valid, unencumbered driver’s licence.
  • Clearance: The successful candidate must undergo and maintain a formal security clearance.
  • Flexibility: Ability and willingness to adjust work schedules to meet urgent organizational needs and professional requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

The following will be considered an advantage:

  • An NQF Level 08 (Honours or Postgraduate Diploma) in a relevant field.
  • Professional registration in the built environment or property sector.
  • Experience in private sector property management or immovable asset management.

Key Knowledge and Skills

  • Infrastructure Delivery: Authoritative knowledge of the entire infrastructure delivery lifecycle.
  • Portfolio Management: Ability to manage multi-billion rand portfolios, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high standards.
