Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Postdoctoral Fellow to join our Agronomy team. In this role, you will focus on delivering high-quality research, managing field experiments, and contributing to scientific publications that advance agricultural knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct relevant, high-quality research and ensure all project milestones are achieved.
- Coordinate field experiments, including planning, data collection, and detailed analysis.
- Prepare and process data and conduct thorough literature reviews.
- Write and contribute to research papers for publication in refereed journals.
- Share project results through scientific conferences and peer-reviewed publications.
- Collaborate and engage with relevant project stakeholders.
- Ensure all activities comply with health, safety, and environmental (SHE/OHS) policies.
Requirements
- A PhD in Agronomy, Crop Science, Plant Production, Agrometeorology, Plant Sciences, or a closely related field.
- Must have graduated with a PhD within the last five years.
- A proven track record of research published in high-impact factor journals.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong interpersonal skills and professional conduct.
- A proactive approach to career development and a commitment to the mentorship process.
