About the Role
Tsebo Solutions Group is a leading workplace management provider with a large presence across Africa and the Middle East. We are looking for a reliable and professional Driver to support our Catering operations in Durban. In this role, you will be responsible for the timely delivery of meals, ingredients, and equipment between sites while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely deliver meals, ingredients, and catering supplies according to scheduled timelines.
- Follow designated routes and ensure all deliveries are made on time.
- Load and unload food containers and equipment with care to prevent damage.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain the vehicle’s cleanliness.
- Maintain accurate records, including logbooks, trip sheets, and fuel records.
- Adhere to all South African road laws and client-specific safety regulations.
- Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns to management immediately.
- Represent the company professionally when interacting with clients and teams.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum of a Matric certificate.
- Experience: At least 3 years of professional driving experience.
- License: A valid driver’s license is essential.
- Compliance: Strong knowledge of road safety laws and traffic regulations.
Skills and Competencies
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow schedules and plan efficient routes.
- Basic data recording skills for maintaining logs.
- A proactive approach to vehicle maintenance and safety.
