SA Litho Label Printers is a reputable leader in the label printing industry. We are dedicated to quality, innovation, and providing excellent service to our customers. We are currently looking for a reliable and professional Driver to join our logistics team.
The Role
Reporting to the Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for delivering products to our clients safely and on time. Your goal is to ensure that every delivery arrives in excellent condition while following the most efficient routes.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan driving routes in advance to ensure timely deliveries.
- Use navigation apps to find the best paths and avoid traffic or roadworks.
- Keep the company vehicle clean, safe, and in good working order.
- Schedule regular vehicle maintenance and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Collect payments and issue receipts when required.
- Stay updated on traffic and weather conditions to adjust travel plans.
- Transport clients or staff to requested locations punctually.
- Strictly follow all Health, Safety, and Environmental policies.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Education: Minimum of Grade 12 (Matric).
- Licenses: A valid Code 14 Driver’s License and a valid Forklift License.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience, preferably within the manufacturing or label printing industry.
- Language: Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in both English and Afrikaans.
- Skills: Ability to perform basic calculations and work well independently.
