Job Overview
Motus Toyota Cape Gate is currently seeking a reliable Light Duty Driver to join our team. This role is ideal for an individual who is dedicated to safe driving and is willing to assist with various departmental tasks to ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and collect automotive parts from suppliers, customers, and other branches.
- Ensure all parts are maintained in excellent condition and handled carefully during transit.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections to check for defects, damages, and general roadworthiness.
- Maintain vehicle security by ensuring all units are locked and keys are stored correctly.
- Report any accidents or traffic offences to the supervisor immediately.
- Provide professional and helpful service to customers during deliveries.
- Assist the department with other reasonable duties as needed.
- Be available to work overtime when required.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
- A valid driver’s license with a Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
- A clear criminal record.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- A customer-oriented mindset and the ability to work well within a team.
