Position: Driver (Refuse Tractor / Truck Driver)

Minimum Requirements

• Education: Grade 8 (First School Leaving Certificate).
• License: Valid Code 10 Driving License.
• Permit: Valid Professional Driver’s Permit (PrDP).
• Skills: Ability to read and write clearly.
• Health: Must be physically fit and in good health.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely drive vehicles to designated locations to transport staff, materials, and refuse.
• Follow instructions from supervisors regarding the cleaning of spillages.
• Transport waste to disposal sites and monitor the offloading process.
• Ensure waste is separated correctly according to specific guidelines.
• Collect and deliver materials to various offices and sites, ensuring all items match the delivery documentation.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs to the supervisor.
