The WCED is responsible for early childhood development as well as primary and secondary school education within the Western Cape. Our primary goals are to strengthen language and mathematics skills, improve matriculation results, and ensure that learners in all communities have access to high-quality education.
Role Summary
We are seeking a professional E-Learning Projects Facilitator to manage and oversee technology-driven educational projects at the district level. This role is essential in integrating digital solutions into our schools to improve learning outcomes.
Requirements
- A National Diploma (NQF Level 6) or a Bachelor’s Degree.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management within an ICT environment, preferably in the education sector.
- A valid driver’s license.
Knowledge and Expertise
- Understanding of provincial e-learning policies, legislation, and regulations (such as White Paper 7).
- Solid knowledge of project management principles within both ICT and educational contexts.
Key Skills
- Advanced computer literacy.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Excellent report writing and organizational planning skills.
- Analytical and systematic thinking to solve complex problems.
