About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and experienced driver to support the logistics operations of the EKURHULENI Health District. The successful candidate will transport mail, documents, furniture, medication, staff, and students to various locations as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, deliver, and distribute mail and documents.
- Transport furniture to and from institutions.
- Collect old assets from institutions and deliver them to the redundant asset store.
- Transport medication and other stock as requested.
- Transport staff and students to meetings, workshops, and training sessions.
- Assist with vehicle collection and delivery to merchants.
Requirements
- AET Level 4 (Standard 7 or Grade 9 report) or Grade 12.
- Minimum of three years driving experience.
- Valid Code 10 (C1) driver’s licence and valid PDP.
- Ability to work under pressure, both independently and as part of a team.
- Good reading, writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
