Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
- A Senior Certificate (Matric).
- A Certificate of Registration as an Enrolled Nurse or Staff Nurse.
- Current registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as an Enrolled Nurse or Staff Nurse.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will perform the following duties:
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of nursing legislation and legal/ethical nursing practices.
- Work effectively within a structured clinical environment.
- Facilitate and monitor patient health education programs, including the National Tuberculosis Control Program (NTCP).
- Manage effective patient discharge processes.
- Maintain accurate and organized medical record-keeping.
- Uphold high standards to improve nursing care quality.
- Provide direct patient care and support to the Professional Nurse on duty.
