About the Role

FEM is looking for an EAP Bursary Administrator to support the Education Assistance Programme (EAP). The role ensures that applications, invoices, payments and communication with beneficiaries are handled accurately, on time and in line with company rules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and record EAP invoices accurately and promptly.
  • Follow up on missing documents from beneficiaries, pensioners and service providers.
  • Enroll eligible beneficiaries into the EAP system and keep data correct.
  • Fix rejected invoices, beneficiary or vendor details within the required time.
  • Verify and record vendor and beneficiary banking details.
  • Send proof of payment to beneficiaries and service providers on time.
  • Maintain accurate records and audit trails for all EAP transactions.
  • Identify and raise risks such as overpayments, duplicate payments or incomplete paperwork.
  • Support internal and external audit requests and answer queries.
  • Provide regular reports on EAP administration, outstanding items and performance.

Education

Minimum: Diploma in finance, administration or a related field.

Ideal: BCom or equivalent qualification.

Experience

Minimum: 1–2 years in an administrative, finance or programme support role.

Training & Knowledge

Minimum: Good administrative and organisational skills, understanding of financial documents and processes, proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), strong communication skills.

Ideal: Experience in financial administration, debtors or programme management, knowledge of internal controls and compliance, experience in insurance, medical administration or financial services.
