Job Overview

The Department of Tourism is looking for a qualified Finance Clerk to join the Financial Control and Accounting team. This role involves managing financial data, ensuring compliance with government regulations, and supporting the department’s accounting functions.

Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric) certificate.
• Basic knowledge of financial functions and practices.
• Ability to capture data accurately and operate a computer.
• Understanding of Public Service financial legislation and procedures, including the PFMA and Treasury regulations.
• Familiarity with financial operating systems such as PERSAL, BAS, Safetyweb, or LOGIS is an advantage.
