Job Overview
As a Fire Assistant Technician, you will work under the supervision of a Fire Technician or Fire Chief. Your primary role is to help install, maintain, and repair fire protection systems. We are looking for a candidate with a basic understanding of fire safety regulations and the technical skills needed to support our team effectively.

Main Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation, testing, and maintenance of fire alarms, sprinkler systems, and fire extinguishers.
- Perform regular inspections on equipment to ensure everything is in good working order.
- Respond to emergency calls and provide support during fire incidents.
- Follow all safety rules and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Help conduct fire safety training and evacuation drills for staff.
- Keep clear and accurate records of all repairs, inspections, and maintenance tasks.
- Complete any other related tasks assigned by the Fire Technician or Fire Chief.
Requirements
- High school diploma or an equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in fire protection or a similar technical field is preferred.
- A basic understanding of fire safety rules and procedures.
- Technical ability to help troubleshoot and fix fire protection systems.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergencies when needed.
- Physical fitness to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments.
