About the Role
Foot Gear SA is seeking a highly motivated and energetic individual to join our team as an Employee Relations Clerk. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone with a passion for human resources and a drive to achieve business success. Key Responsibilities
- Execute compliance monitoring processes, including preparing for and assisting with Labour Inspector visits.
- Review all disciplinary documentation received to ensure 100% compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Promote harmonious workplace relations and sound employment practices in line with relevant labour legislation.
- Assist with the investigation of workplace incidents to ensure a fair and consistent application of the disciplinary code.
- Arrange disciplinary hearings and assist with the preparation of all necessary documentation for enquiries.
- Assist with drafting communications and preparing documentation for CCMA cases.
- Maintain accurate and proper records of all industrial relations (IR) related matters.
- Draft various communications, including emails, letters, and reports.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12) certificate is essential.
- A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Employee Relations, or Industrial Relations will be a significant advantage.
- Minimum of 1 year of working experience in an HR or IR related role.
- Computer literate with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Knowledge of various Labour legislation (e.g., LRA, BCEA, EE Act) is highly preferable.
