About the Role

Foot Gear SA is seeking a highly motivated and energetic individual to join our team as an Employee Relations Clerk. Key Responsibilities

• Execute compliance monitoring processes, including preparing for and assisting with Labour Inspector visits.
• Review all disciplinary documentation received to ensure 100% compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Promote harmonious workplace relations and sound employment practices in line with relevant labour legislation.
• Assist with the investigation of workplace incidents to ensure a fair and consistent application of the disciplinary code.
• Arrange disciplinary hearings and assist with the preparation of all necessary documentation for enquiries.
• Assist with drafting communications and preparing documentation for CCMA cases.
• Maintain accurate and proper records of all industrial relations (IR) related matters.
• Draft various communications, including emails, letters, and reports.

Minimum Requirements

• Matric (Grade 12) certificate is essential.
• A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Employee Relations, or Industrial Relations will be a significant advantage.
• Minimum of 1 year of working experience in an HR or IR related role.
• Computer literate with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Knowledge of various Labour legislation (e.g., LRA, BCEA, EE Act) is highly preferable.
