Role Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Forklift Driver to join our Welkom Distribution Center. This is a temporary position focused on maintaining efficient warehouse operations, ensuring stock is handled correctly, and following all safety and quality protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick stock accurately and efficiently according to daily customer orders.
• Follow company processes for receiving and dispatching all stock.
• Check incoming stock from deliveries and trade returns to ensure accuracy.
• Rotate stock regularly to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards and comply with all Health and Safety requirements.
• Participate in weekly stock counts with the warehouse team.

Requirements

• Senior Certificate (Matric) or an equivalent qualification.
• Valid Forklift License.
• 1 to 2 years of warehousing experience, preferably within the FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) sector.
• Basic computer literacy is an advantage.
• Willingness to work long hours, including weekends and public holidays when necessary.
• Knowledge of HACCP, ISO 9001, or food environment standards is a plus.
