Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift and Reach Truck Driver to join our team in Gauteng. This is a full-time position focused on efficient stock management and safe warehouse operations.

Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric) certificate.
• Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
• A valid Forklift and Reach Truck license (MHE).
• Previous experience in a similar warehouse or logistics environment.
• Basic knowledge of quality inspection and safety standards (ISO).
• Experience using SAP scanners is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Machine Maintenance: Perform daily safety checks on the forklift/reach truck, report any faults, and handle daily battery maintenance.
• Stock Management: Move, put away, and deliver stock accurately. Conduct regular bin audits following the FIFO (First In, First Out) method.
• Safety and Quality: Handle pallets and modules safely. Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain high safety and quality standards.
• Warehouse Support: Assist with stock-takes, keep the work area clean (housekeeping), and participate in continuous improvement activities (Kaizen).
• Flexibility: Be willing to work overtime when needed to meet customer demands and support the team where necessary.
