About the Role
The Graduate Trainee – Commercial (Sales) role is designed to develop future commercial talent. You will gain hands‑on experience in sales operations, distributor management, and market execution in South Africa.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the country sales strategy and help plan, forecast, and track sales performance.
- Prepare sales reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal stakeholders.
- Assist distributor relationship management: track performance, monitor stock, review KPIs.
- Help create materials for distributor meetings and joint business plans.
- Maintain accurate customer, pricing, and promotional data.
- Conduct market and competitor analysis, including pricing and promotions.
- Identify commercial opportunities and risks in the South African market.
- Support trade marketing initiatives, promotions, and point‑of‑sale materials.
- Coordinate product launches and commercial activations.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Regulatory teams.
- Participate in cross‑functional projects as part of the trainee program.
- Ensure full compliance with company policies and South African laws.
- Apply a dermatology strategy mindset in daily tasks.
Qualifications & Skills
- South African citizen or eligible to work in South Africa.
- 0–1 year of work experience (internships are a plus).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Management, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Commercial mindset with interest in sales and customer engagement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn in a fast‑paced environment.
