Job Opportunity: GANT Flexi Store Assistant

AVI LIMITED is a leading South African company in the FMCG market, managing over 50 well-known brands. We are currently looking for a professional and energetic Flexi Store Assistant to join our GANT team at Gateway Mall.
The Role
As a Flexi Store Assistant, your goal is to provide a premium shopping experience for every customer. You will support the store’s success by managing sales, handling stock efficiently, and ensuring cash accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Cash Control and Accuracy
- Manage the cash desk efficiently and ensure all daily balances are correct.
- Follow banking and daily cash control procedures accurately.
- Process manual transactions carefully when necessary.
Stock Management
- Handle daily stock procedures to keep store operations running smoothly.
- Help manage and fulfill customer orders on time.
- Conduct weekly stock counts and keep the storeroom organized.
- Ensure all footwear is correctly paired and organized.
Customer Service and Sales
- Deliver a high-end shopping experience by sharing expert product knowledge.
- Build strong relationships with customers through personalized service.
- Represent the brand professionally at all times.
What You Need to Succeed
- Education: Matric / Grade 12 is essential.
- Experience: 6 months to 1 year of retail experience (experience in fashion or luxury retail is preferred).
- Passion: A genuine interest in high-end fashion, footwear, and helping customers.
- Flexibility: Ability to work weekends, public holidays, and during busy shopping periods.
Skills and Personal Attributes
- Good with numbers and accurate when handling money.
- Able to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks at once.
- High attention to detail and organized.
- A team player who works well with others.
- Natural ability to talk to people and build professional relationships.
