We are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking General Assistant to join our team in Gauteng.
Job Overview
The General Assistant will support the school by maintaining the grounds and performing various maintenance tasks. This role is essential in ensuring our campus remains a safe, clean, and welcoming place for students and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and handyman tasks around the school.
- Manage gardening and the general upkeep of the school grounds.
- Assist with miscellaneous tasks and duties as required by management.
- Collaborate effectively with other team members.
Job Requirements
- Education: Minimum of Grade 12 (Matric) or a relevant Trade qualification.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a similar maintenance or general assistant role.
- Language: Must be fluent in English (speaking and understanding).
Required Skills and Attributes
- Punctual, reliable, and hardworking.
- Strong communication skills to interact with staff and students.
- Helpful and energetic attitude.
- Willingness to work overtime when necessary.
- Trustworthy and able to work well within a team.
- Excellent physical fitness and eyesight for maintenance work.
