Role Summary
We are looking for a dedicated General Assistant to join our hospitality team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will perform daily housekeeping and cleaning services to ensure our facility remains clean, safe, and welcoming for all clients and guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the scullery and kitchen areas.
- Clean and sanitize crockery, cutlery, glassware, and kitchen utensils.
- Ensure all food preparation equipment, floors, walls, and windows are kept clean.
- Follow health and safety regulations, including the proper placement of safety signs during cleaning.
- Organize and clean walk-in cold rooms and fridges.
- Ensure the proper removal of refuse and maintain the tidiness of the outdoor areas.
- Clean and disinfect laundry, kitchen, toilet, and bathroom fixtures.
- Assist other team members and departments with various tasks as needed.

- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
- Ability to work quickly and safely, especially when using cleaning detergents.
- Good hand-eye coordination and high standards of personal hygiene.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Qualifications and Experience
- Must have a Matric certificate.
- Previous experience working as a General Assistant in a hospital environment is required.
