We are currently looking for a hardworking and reliable General Worker to join our team in Clayville. This role is ideal for someone who is physically fit, disciplined, and ready to work in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must meet the following criteria:
- Grade 12 / Matric certificate (NQF level 4).
- Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics setting.
- Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
- Medically fit and physically capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling heavy objects.
- A clean criminal record.
- Own reliable transport to and from the workplace.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Self-motivated with the ability to complete tasks without constant supervision.
- Strong work ethics and a professional attitude.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Safely loading and unloading company products.
- Assisting drivers with navigation and locating delivery points when necessary.
- Keeping accurate records of deliveries and reporting any issues to management.
- Ensuring customers sign for delivered products correctly.
- Cleaning company vehicles and maintaining their appearance.
- Assisting with the unloading of vehicles at the end of every shift.
- Performing general housekeeping and cleaning tasks to keep the workspace organized.
- Following all reasonable instructions provided by the supervisor.
