What We Are Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- A Grade 12 / Matric certificate (NQF level 4).
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Own reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
- A clean criminal record and the physical fitness to handle manual labor.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics setting.
- The ability to lift heavy objects, bend, push, and pull repetitively.
- Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude.
- The ability to work independently and complete tasks without constant supervision.
- A strong work ethic and the ability to follow all safety and supervisor instructions.
Key Responsibilities
As a General Worker, your daily tasks will include:
- Loading and unloading products safely and efficiently.
- Assisting drivers with navigation and finding delivery locations when necessary.
- Reporting any delivery issues or damaged goods to management immediately.
- Keeping accurate delivery records and documentation.
- Ensuring customers sign for deliveries upon receipt.
- Cleaning and maintaining company trucks and equipment.
- Assisting with unloading vehicles at the end of each shift.
- General cleaning and housekeeping tasks to keep the workspace organized.
