The Limpopo Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (LDARD) focuses on supporting the agricultural sector by managing resources efficiently to help our communities grow. We are currently looking for a dedicated General Worker to join our team in the Mopani District.

Job Overview

• Employment Type: Full Time
• Location: Limpopo (Mopani District)
• Qualification: First School Leaving Certificate (ABET Level 2)

Key Responsibilities

As a General Worker, your main duties will include:

• Performing general assistant and maintenance tasks.
• Keeping the premises and surrounding areas clean and tidy.
• Using and looking after gardening equipment and tools.
• Moving furniture and heavy equipment when required.
• Removing trash and emptying boxes.
• Assisting with receiving, loading, and unloading goods and stock.
• Reporting any lost or damaged equipment to supervisors.

Requirements

• An ABET Level 2 certificate or an equivalent qualification recognized by SAQA.
• Previous experience in a similar field is an advantage but not required.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures and basic gardening.
• The ability to operate basic garden machinery.
