General Worker – Rustenburg

Unitrans is a leading provider of supply chain solutions, specializing in transportation, warehousing, and logistics services. We serve a variety of industries, including mining and agriculture. We are currently looking for a hardworking and reliable General Worker to join our team in Rustenburg.

Role Overview

As a General Worker, you will support our logistics operations by handling goods, assisting drivers, and ensuring that our delivery processes run smoothly. This is a full-time position that requires physical stamina and a commitment to high work standards.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 / Matric qualification (NQF Level 4).
  • Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Reliable transport to and from the workplace.
  • A clean criminal record and the ability to pass a medical fitness test.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environment.
  • Physical ability to walk, bend, push, pull, and lift heavy items throughout the day.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to complete tasks without constant supervision.
  • Strong work ethics and the ability to follow instructions accurately.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Loading and unloading company products safely and efficiently.
  • Assisting drivers with navigation and finding delivery locations.
  • Reporting any delivery issues or delays to management immediately.
  • Maintaining accurate delivery records and reports.
  • Ensuring customers sign for received goods to confirm successful delivery.
  • Cleaning company trucks and maintaining vehicle hygiene.
  • Assisting with the final unloading of vehicles at the end of each shift.
  • Performing general housekeeping tasks to keep the workspace clean and safe.
